The Golden Spike's unrivaled security begins with its  4-inch thick, internally hinged, composite door with 24 massive, 1 1/4-inch diameter door bolts, strategically placed around the perimeter of the door with  Bolt Guides providing a lifetime of smooth, squeak free operation.

Inside this formidable door is Sargent & Greenleaf's Group II lock which secures the smoothest and strongest bolt works in the industry. Thick Diamond Imbedded Hard Plate protects the lock from drilling, torching, punching and hammering. Golden Spike’s  Mechanical-Relock System, consisting of primary, secondary and tertiary relockers stands guard against attempts at forced entry. Finally, an  exclusive Glass-Relock System, with an additional remotely placed relocker, assures an extra level of security found only in bank type vaults. The Golden Spike Vault Door is the most secure in the industry.

The Golden Spike Vault Door starts with standard Fire Protection and heat activated fire seals to protect the vaults contents from temperatures up to 1500° for One Hour + - No other vault door equals the Golden Spike door.

The Golden Spike Vault Door's 24-Karat gold-plated dial and 3-spoke handle enhance its beautiful polyurethane finish. The logo and scroll work is finished in exquisite gold silkscreen.
